Economic Development on Third is a non-profit organization committed to the success of the Third Street Corridor, which is home to the largest concentration of African American owned businesses in San Francisco.

EDoT (Economic Development on Third), is a 501(c)3 organization focused on intentional, equitable business development in the Bayview Hunters Point region of San Francisco. EDoT's mission and vision are focused on the economic development of the 3rd Street corridor.

what we do

From storefront facades to COVID 19 related mini operational grants, our projects are intended to support the diverse range of small businesses along the 3rd Street Commercial Corridor.

The 5030 space was made available to Related Tactics and the exhibiting artists through the generous support of Economic Development on Third.

get to know us

In June 2016 EDoT was granted 501(c)3 status to carry out this plan.  EDoT hired an Executive Director (ED), Earl Shaddix, who was a founding member, and additional directors joined the board. EDoT has an active 7-member Board that reflects the ethnic composition of the neighborhood with 50% of the directors being African American; 90% small business owner resides in 94124.
